Fatherhood isn't the only new gig for Channing Tatum: The actor and movie producer is also branching out into TV production.

Deadline reports that Tatum is teaming up with longtime friend Reid Carolin (below right), with whom he runs the production company Iron Horse Entertainment, to produce a half-hour comedy based on the life of fellow buddy and actor Nick Zano (below left).

Called "Nicky," the show will revolve around Zano's experiences growing up in a multi-generational home with seven women in New Jersey. Zano will star as the titular Nicky, a 30-year-old guy set to leave the house only to wind up staying to help raise his younger sister.

Tatum and Carolin have previously produced several films together -- including "Magic Mike" and the upcoming "White House Down" -- but "Nicky" will mark their first foray into TV. Zano, Tatum, and Carolin, who have been friends for years, had been searching for a way to tell Zano's story for some time, but only recently settled on the TV comedy route after Zano's stints on shows such as "2 Broke Girls," "Happy Endings," and "What I Like About You."

Tatum shared the news on Facebook, writing, "We've spent many nights laughing our asses off with our pal Nick Zano and his tales of being raised in a multi-generational house of 7 women in New Jersey. And now we're so proud to announce that we're bringing those stories to your home! Look out for NICKY, a new sitcom from Warner Bros. TV, starring Nick and produced by us, next year!"

The series will be shopped to networks during the next development season.

It's official: The Sexiest Man Alive has the Cutest Kid Alive.

New dad Channing Tatum rang in his first Father's Day by introducing the world to his 2-week-old daughter, Everly.

The 33-year-old actor posted the above family photo -- of himself and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum gazing lovingly at baby Everly -- to Facebook on June 16, gushing, "First Father's Day with my girls."

Dewan-Tatum gave birth to Everly on May 31 in London, where Tatum has been filming the upcoming futuristic sci-fi film "Jupiter Ascending."

In a pre-Everly interview for Vanity Fair's July 2013 issue, Tatum revealed his simple parenting philosophy: "I'm just going to be a good friend to my kid," he said.

Jaxson Denno doesn't like being lied to, which is exactly what happened when his mom told him he was going to come face-to-face with Iron Man.

According to People, the 18-month-old tyke burst into tears upon meeting Robert Downey Jr., because he was expecting the Marvel Comics superhero. We don't blame the little guy: We'd also be crestfallen to encounter a middle-aged man in jeans and a T-shirt instead of a dude in a sweet suit that can fly. Even if said middle-aged man is Robert Downey Jr.

In the above photo, taken in western Massachusetts where Downey Jr. is filming "The Judge," the suitless "Iron Man" star attempts to comfort a severely disappointed Jaxson. The What the hell do I do now? look on the actor's face is priceless.

"He was fine as soon as he talked to him," Jaxson's mom Heather told People, adding that the boy "was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn't. Well, not Iron Man in the suit."

Perhaps Downey Jr. should consider keeping a suit on hand, if only to avoid making other innocent children cry?

According to "Bling Ring" director Sofia Coppola, British actress Watson marathoned "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" in preparation for her role in the film, now in theaters.

"I think she watched a lot of 'Kardashians' to get a Calabasas accent," Coppola dished to E! News at the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards on June 12. "And she watched 'Pretty Wild' and she immersed herself into all of that."

Watson's "Bling Ring" character, Nicki, is based on Alexis Neiers, one of the stars of "Pretty Wild," an E! reality series that aired after the Bling Ring's illegal exploits came to light.

"I think she did an incredible job with the accent, it's really specific," Coppola gushed. "She's such a Californian, it's very Calabasas."

Reality TV -- good for more than just guilty-pleasure viewing and 15 minutes of fame.

Just four months after splitting up, reportedly for geographic reasons, former flames Michelle Williams and Jason Segel have found new love on their respective coasts.

Williams, who lives in New York City with her 7-year-old daughter Matilda, has been photographed out and about with artist Dustin Yellin, 37, most recently at a child's birthday party in Brooklyn.

For his part, L.A.-based Segel is romancing Serbian-Australian actress Bojana Novakovic, who's slated to star in the upcoming Fox series "Rake."

"They have fun together and Jason seems to be really happy," a source spilled to People of the new couple.

Introduced by their mutual pal Busy Philipps, Williams and Segel dated for one year before their February 2013 breakup. After they parted ways, an insider told People that commitment issues were partially to blame.

"Jason never got rid of his place in L.A., and Michelle's life with [daughter] Matilda was and has always been in New York," the source revealed. "While Jason made every effort to make them a priority in his life -- and they were top priority -- he still couldn't drop everything and leave his life and career in L.A."

It's official: Halle Berry and her fiance Olivier Martinez have a baby boy on the way.

Martinez, 47, didn't shy away from the topic of his son-to-be while at the opening night of the Champs-Élysées Film Festival in Paris on June 12.

"My son will be an American, but I remain French," the actor and 2013 festival president told People. "I'm French -- it's less important. Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there -- but I'm still a foreigner. My son will be an American."

Berry and Olivier met and began dating in 2010 while filming the thriller "Dark Tide." After much speculation, Berry confirmed their engagement in March 2012, and the 46-year-old Oscar winner shared the happy -- and wholly unexpected -- news of her pregnancy in April 2013.

"This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth," she admitted to CNN at the time. "Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."

Berry and Martinez's coming bundle of joy will have an older sister in Nahla, Berry's 5-year-old daughter from her relationship with model Gabriel Aubry.
