Her death comes a year after niece Natasha Richardson died from head injuries sustained in a skiing accident and just a month after the death of her older brother, Corin Redgrave.

The youngest child of Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, Lynn Redgrave never quite managed the acclaim -- or notoriety -- of elder sibling Vanessa Redgrave, but received Oscar nominations for 'Georgy Girl' and 'Gods and Monsters,' and Tony nominations for 'Mrs. Warren's Profession,' 'Shakespeare for My Father' and 'The Constant Wife.'

Corey Haim in License to DriveCanadian-born Haim's breakout role was in the critically acclaimed 1986 film 'Lucas,' where he played a nerdy and skinny student looking to prove himself on a high school football team. He later went on to star in major commercial hits like the vampire movie 'The Lost Boys,' 'License to Drive' and 'Dream a Little Dream,' all of which co-starred his then-partner in crime -- or in movies, anyway -- Feldman.

Haim has admitted to struggling with drug addiction. When his career faltered, he filed for bankruptcy and made several trips to rehab. The actor has admitted to abusing alcohol, cocaine, Valium and other pills. In recent years, he had been attempting to make a comeback, appearing in last year's 'Crank: High Voltage' and signing onto a number of indie film projects.

The couple met during the filming of the 1988 baseball classic 'Bull Durham.' Sarandon also appeared in Robbins' 'Cradle Will Rock' in 1999. Playing a frequent-flyer junkie in 'Up in the Air,' Clooney had a nomination for best dramatic actor, along with Jeff Bridges as a boozy country singer in 'Crazy Heart,' Colin Firth as a grieving gay academic in 'A Single Man,' Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela in 'Invictus' and Tobey Maguire as a prisoner of war in 'Brothers.'

Streep had two nominations for musical or comedy actress, as chef Julia Child in 'Julie & Julia' and a woman in an affair with her ex-husband in 'It's Complicated.'

Sandra Bullock also had two nominations, as dramatic actress in the football story 'The Blind Side' and as a dragon-lady boss forcing her assistant to pose as her fiance in 'The Proposal.'

Other dramatic actress nominees were Emily Blunt as Britain's monarch in her early reign in 'The Young Victoria,' Helen Mirren as the imperious wife of Leo Tolstoy in 'The Last Station,' Carey Mulligan as a 1960s British teen in an affair with an older man in 'An Education' and Gabourey Sidibe as an illiterate, abused teen turning her life around in 'Precious.'




'Up In the Air'
'Up in the Air' generally has been considered a comedy, but its inclusion in the drama category could give it more weight as a potential favorite for the Academy Awards, where dramatic films tend to dominate.

The film also earned best-director and screenplay nominations for Jason Reitman.

"I can't put into words how exciting it is to feel and to know that I'll be going to the Golden Globes with everyone I worked with on this film," Reitman told the press after learning of the nods. "This was one of those ensembles that we really enjoyed working together. We're a tight-knit family. The idea that we're going together is just wonderful."

On the TV side, there is no bigger story than FOX's freshman musical show, 'Glee.' The infectious series earned four, including best TV series comedy/musical, best actress for Lea Michele, best actor for Matthew Morrison and best supporting actress for Jane Lynch. With three noms apiece are '30 Rock,' 'Big Love,' 'Dexter,' 'Mad Men' and the new 'Damages.

In the "snubbed" category, you'll find 'Lost,' 'Ugly Betty' and 'Sons of Anarchy.'

Hollywood's second biggest film honors after the Academy Awards, the Globes are a key ceremony that sort out the prospects leading up to the Oscar nominations Feb. 2.

The 67th annual Globes will be handed out Jan. 17, six days before nomination voting closes for the Oscars.

Last year's best drama winner at the Globes, 'Slumdog Millionaire,' went on to win best picture and dominate at the Oscars. Other Globe recipients who followed with Oscar wins included Heath Ledger as supporting actor for 'The Dark Knight' and Kate Winslet, who won supporting actress at the Globes for 'The Reader' and best actress for that film at the Oscars.

The Globes are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of about 85 critics and reporters for overseas outlets.
