Today, in the Best News Ever: Former "Saturday Night Live" stars -- and our favorite famous BFFs -- Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set to co-host "SNL"'s holiday episode in December, which will also mark the show's last installment of 2015.

"SNL" announced the amazing news on Twitter, revealing the full slate of hosts for the following month. But it was Fey and Poehler's names that first caught our eye, and we can't wait to see them work their comedy magic on the Studio 8H stage again. The "Sisters" stars are slated to headline on December 19, supported by musical guest Bruce Springsteen.

Before that, Ryan Gosling will stop by the show on December 5, alongside musical guest Leon Bridges. On December 12, Chris Hemsworth will play host, with Chance the Rapper appearing as musical guest.

While Fey and Poehler have both returned to host "SNL" since they left the sketch show, this will be the first time that they co-host. And since they won't be back as emcees of the Golden Globes, this really is the next best thing -- and possibly even better. Remember their stint on Weekend Update? Remember their hilarious Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton sketches from the 2008 election season? We can't wait to see more where that awesomeness came from. Merry early Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus to us.
