American audiences may have watched their last full trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," but that hasn't stopped Lucasfilm from releasing a new international one -- and it has lots of goodies that U.S. fans haven't seen yet.

The clip centers mostly around Rey (Daisy Ridley), who's waiting for her family to pick her up from the planet Jakku (there's a great shot of the setting sun skyline that resembles footage from Tatooine in "A New Hope"). Who that family is has long been speculated (is she playing Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter?), but she finds a temporary substitute in BB-8, the adorable new droid who's been causing a stir on social media since his (or her) introduction.

We see Rey and Finn's (John Boyega) first meeting, as well as lots of new footage of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) leading stormtroopers on a fiery, devastating ground assault. There are also plenty of shots of aerial battles, too, with X-Wings and TIE fighters duking it out; at one point, Chewbacca appears to blow up a ship. Later, Rey finds herself trapped by Ren, his three-pronged lightsaber held to her throat in a tense scene.

"Hope is not lost today," a voice (perhaps belonging to Lupita Nyong'o's character, Maz Kanata?) says at the end of the clip, as Rey cries over what appears to be a dead body. "It is found."

Check out the awesome trailer below. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is due in theaters on December 18.
