Eddie Redmayne is on the streak of a lifetime. He just won an Oscar for "The Theory of Everything," he's now promoting "The Danish Girl" (which may win him another trophy), and he'll soon star in the "Harry Potter" prequel "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

Eddie plays Newt Scamander in the adaptation of J.K. Rowling's novel, which is set 70 years before the Harry Potter books/movies. While at the Toronto Film Festival, Eddie talked to E! News about wanting to live up to the standard of the Potter franchise:

The stakes are high because they were so good before. You don't want to screw it up. ... It's a complete privilege for me. I love J.K. Rowling. I love the Harry Potter films [and] books, so for me this is just the most wondrous gift really."

J.K. Rowling wrote the script for "Fantastic Beasts," which is being directed by Harry Potter film veteran David Yates. In addition to Eddie Redmayne, the cast also includes Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Jenn Murray, and Faith Wood-Blagrove.

Filming started on August 17 and it's scheduled to be released on November 18, 2016.
