Never underestimate the power of nostalgia. These days, anything and everything can and will be rebooted.

Variety reports that Nickelodeon is considering reviving some of its classic shows from the '80s and '90s, including "Rugrats," "Hey Arnold!," and "You Can't Do That on Television."

"We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way," said Russell Hicks, president of content and development at Nickelodeon.

The old shows won't necessarily be transformed into new series; they might come back in the form of a movie or special. But the network is hoping to appeal to viewers who grew up watching those shows and now have kids of their own.

Not only that, those Nickelodeon shows helped launch current stars, including Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice, who were in "Victorious." Perhaps the network is hoping to bring them back with guest appearances.

If the reboot train is really leaving the Nickelodeon station, can we request a seat for "Double Dare?"
