Silence may have arrived at the Iron Islands for "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Euron Greyjoy, aka Crow's Eye -- Theon Greyjoy's (Alfie Allen) scariest uncle -- appears to be joining the action for the 2016 season.

*Spoilers ahead from GoT Season 6 filming and the A Song of Ice and Fire books*

According to a September 1 report from Watchers on the Wall, parts of a major scene were filmed in Northern Ireland on Tuesday, with Danish actor Pilou Asbæk ("Lucy") in the role of Euron Greyjoy. Here's Pilou:

They said he was involved in a scene where a crowd cheered for Euron, captain of the feared ship Silence. If that sounds like the Kingsmoot to you, that's exactly what sources told the site was happening. They added:

The scene was very visible from the cliff paths nearby. Yara was present for the scene, as expected. There was no Victarion, as we've also been predicting for some time.

Our source did see someone who appeared to be Aeron, playing the Drowned Priest's role in leading the Kingsmoot and speaking often. They didn't think it was the same actor from season 2 who appeared as a Drowned Priest, or anyone they recognized but it was difficult to tell for certain in this case."

They added that filming in that particular harbor would continue for the rest of the week, so they hoped to add more details. (Here are some filming spoiler photos.)

In the book, Theon isn't at the Kingsmoot, where the Ironborn choose a new king, so he wouldn't be expected to be there on TV. (Plus, he's busy trying to flee Winterfell with Sansa Stark.) It'll be good to see Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) again; her book counterpart, Asha, was a big part of the Kingsmoot. Why no Victarion, though? And how will the overall storyline be adapted for the more condensed plot of "Game of Thrones"? Will someone will head out to try and win over Daenerys Targaryen?

What are your thoughts on revisiting the Iron Islands in Season 6? What do you hope to see?
