Last year, word broke that Sony execs were Married... With Children" set to revolve around Bud Bundy. Now, the actor behind the character has confirmed that a new show is indeed in the works -- and all his former castmates are set to cameo, too.

While attending the premiere of "Vacation" in support of his former co-star Christina Applegate, David Faustino confirmed the spinoff news in an interview with E!, revealing that he was currently working on getting the show off the ground.

"Sony has it. They're excited about it," Faustino told the network. "They're working out some legal issues that we hope they work out."

We assume those legal issues pertain to the rights to the Fox series, though considering how popular the reboot/revival/spinoff trend is these days, this particular project probably doesn't have anything to worry about. And something else Faustino told E! should sweeten the pot, too.

"The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it," Faustino said. "The idea would be a pilot for a spinoff. That's all I can say right now. It involves me and few other people."

That echoes comments that Applegate made last September, when she told E! that Faustino was working on a reunion project of sorts centered around the next generation of the Bundy family. And at the "Vacation" premiere, the actress confirmed her commitment to her former costar again.

"All of us have said we would all be there for [Faustino]," Applegate told E!.

Katey Sagal and Ed O'Neill, who played matriarch and patriarch Peg and Al Bundy, have yet to make a public comment on the project, so stay tuned to see if they'll get involved, too.
