Maybe she's born with it. Maybe it's witchcraft.

We all know Kate Beckinsale as ageless vampire Selena in the "Underworld," but, as it turns out, she has way more in common with her latex bodysuit-wearing alter ego than you know.

You see, one of Hollywood's worst-kept secrets is that Beckinsale DOES NOT AGE. Unlike us mere mortals, over the course of her two-decade career, Ms. Beckinsale has simply refused to allow time to alter her appearance. As a result, the internet (and my brain) have come up with several theories to explain her permanent, goddess-like presence. Here's a sampling:

1. She's an alien. I have no proof of this, but I stand by it.
2. She lives in an alternate dimension, one that allows her to be seen in ours but where the laws of time and space do not apply -- like "Interstellar" for beautiful people. Neil deGrasse Tyson would approve.
3. As an infant, an old hag cursed with eternal beauty and youth, making it impossible for her to ever know what it feels like to be ugly.

Whatever the reason, here's two decades-worth of photographic evidence that suggests that, at the very least, Beckinsale was born with a magical combination of great genes, classic beauty, and a steely stare that just won't quit.
