Never mind about that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." spinoff with Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood. No need to leave space for it in your 2015-2016 TV calendar after all. According to Deadline -- which told everyone about the Palicki and Blood plans in April -- ABC and Marvel won't be moving forward with the new show.

It's a not-too-surprising call, since both "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Agent Carter" were just picked up for new seasons and many fans agree that it's too soon for a "S.H.I.E.L.D." spinoff, especially one that would take away two popular characters, exes Lance Hunter and Barbara "Bobbi" Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird).

However, here's an interesting tease, which Deadline threw at the end of their report: "ABC and Marvel also are secretly working on a potential series with John Ridley, who will be busy with a second installment of American Crime, just picked up by the network." So this Marvel series is dead, but long live another Marvel series ... eventually? What do you think about all of these Marvel adaptations -- the more the merrier or should they slow down before it's overload?
