"Masters of Sex": a sex scent master. Yes, this is a thing. And if he's selling, we're buying.

Josh Charles famously exited "The Good Wife" in dramatic and deadly fashion, but the actor himself is back on TV in a new role. According to Entertainment Weekly, he's joining "Masters of Sex" Season 3, which premieres July 12 on Showtime. After "The Good Wife," he appeared in a couple of episodes of "Inside Amy Schumer," but this is his first major TV series role since Will Gardner.

In "Masters," Charles plays Daniel Logan, described as "a self-made businessman working in the scent industry. In an attempt to bottle the smell of sex and market an aphrodisiac to the general public, Dan seeks out Masters (Michael Sheen) and Johnson's (Lizzy Caplan) expertise on desire. A charismatic salesman, Dan's involvement with Masters and Johnson becomes complicated." Apparently there may be a love triangle between Masters, Johnson, and Logan. If anyone knows how to sell a love triangle (and a sex perfume?), it's Josh Charles. And, obviously, Josh Charles + Lizzie Caplan = Win.

In addition to "Masters of Sex," Charles is also starring in the Netflix sequel series "Wet Hot American Summer." So hopefully this means he's back for good.
