It looks like the upcoming live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast" has found its Lumiere: The Hollywood Reporter writes that Ewan McGregor is in final negotiations to take the part.

According to the trade, McGregor's involvement is all but a done deal. He's the last major actor to be cast, and will play Lumiere, the smooth-talking servant who's turned into a candelabra, and memorably belts out the classic tune, "Be Our Guest."

McGregor's most memorable on-screen singing came in Baz Luhrmann's 2001 musical "Moulin Rouge." The actor joins a long list of impressive talent set to star in "Beauty," including Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen, Josh Gad, Audra McDonald, and Kevin Kline.

"Beauty and the Beast," based on the 1991 animated Disney classic, is directed by Bill Condon. It's due in theaters on March 17, 2017.
