Three upcoming "LEGO Movie" flicks have new release dates, with "The LEGO Movie Sequel" and the LEGO Batman spinoff arriving earlier than anticipated.

"The LEGO Movie Sequel" has been moved up one week, and will now open on May 18, 2018. A spinoff film centered on LEGO Batman -- still untitled -- also has an earlier release date, and will now hit theaters on February 10, 2017.

That's bad news, unfortunately, for a second "LEGO" spinoff, "Ninjago," which reportedly needs additional work. That project has been pushed from a previous fall 2016 release date to a new debut set for September 22, 2017.

Warner Bros. exec Veronika Kwan Vandenberg touted the three flicks as "incredibly imaginative movies" that "each [offer] something different to appeal to a broad range of audiences around the world."

"We are very excited about dating our upcoming LEGO animated features, which already have a worldwide fan following, built on the foundation of the first film," added Dan Fellman, another Warner Bros. exec. "These three films already in the pipeline are just the beginning of a creative and diverse animation slate that will be delighting audiences for years to come."
