Anna Kendrick is a delight on Twitter, and now, she's parlaying her quick wit into a series of humorous essays for a new book.

The Oscar-nominated actress is set to pen a book of autobiographical essays that touch upon her childhood, her box office success in flicks like "Pitch Perfect," and everything in between. The as-yet-untitled tome is set to hit the shelves sometime in the fall of 2016.

Kendrick released a statement along with the announcement from publisher Touchstone. It said:

I'm excited to publish my first book, and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I'd like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness and the frequency with which I embarrass myself.

And while many of my female inspirations who have become authors are incredibly well-educated and accomplished comedy writers, I'm very, very funny on Twitter, according to Buzzfeed and my mom, so I feel like this is a great idea. Quick question: are run-on sentences still frowned upon? Wait, is ending a sentence with a preposition still frowned upon? I mean, upon frowned? Dammit!

Based on that blurb alone, we're already hooked. Hurry up, 2016!
