Ryan Reynolds was hit by a car last Friday in a hotel parking lot, but was uninjured in the hit-and-run incident.

CTV News reports that the actor, who is in Vancouver shooting "X-Men" spinoff "Deadpool," was leaving the parking lot Friday evening when he was struck by an unidentified car, which then fled the scene. Local law enforcement officials believe the driver may have been a member of the paparazzi, and "have an idea" of the man's identity.

Reynolds's publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed details of the accident to local media.

"While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage," Slone told CTV. "The man fled the scene. Ryan is okay."

Reynolds declined to speak to the media about the incident, and was back at work on "Deadpool" on Saturday, tweeting out photos from the set. He also joked on Twitter that he would only answer questions if a Canadian broadcast network resurrected one of his favorite series.

Local authorities are still investigating the incident. "Because Reynolds was not injured, police said they would have to speak to him to determine whether to proceed with any charges," CTV reports.
