The X-Men are getting another ally in their ranks.

Director Bryan Singer announced via Instagram that newcomer Lana Condor has been cast as Jubilee for the upcoming "X-Men Apocalypse" movie.

Jubilee is a fan-favorite character from the animated '90s "X-Men" series, where she was a sort of younger sister to Wolverine and the older mutants. She has the power to emit energy bursts from her hands.

I'd officially like to welcome our newest mutant #JubilationLee, #Jubilee @LanaCondor to #XMEN #Apocalypse

Condor joins a slew of actors joining the hit franchise, including Channing Tatum as Gambi, Sophie Turner as a young Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as a young Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as a young Storm.

The next generation will appear alongside returning stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Rose Byrne when "Apocalypse" premieres May 27, 2016.
