"Game of Thrones" fans will have to wait an additional week to see the HBO show on IMAX - but now, more of them will have the chance to do it.

The screenings of season 4's final two episodes, "The Watchers on the Wall" and "The Children," will start January 29, a week later than originally scheduled. That's because "extraordinary consumer response" has prompted IMAX to add 50 more theaters. The full list of theaters is available on IMAX's website.

Screenings will take place across the country, in major cities including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. Along with the two episodes, an exclusive trailer for season 5 - which premieres April 12 - will play.

"Game of Thrones" is the first television series to come to IMAX, which is no big surprise considering the show's epic battle scenes, lush production design, and fantastical creatures.
