Well, folks. The first official teaser trailer for the fourth installment of Ryan Murphy's creep-tastic horror anthology series, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" has arrived.

The newly released clip may be short, but it's just spooky enough to get us even more excited for the show's October 8th premiere. The teaser gives us a glimpse at a freaky looking hand as it opens up to reveal a ticket to the highly-anticipated event.

We already knew the fourth season is set in the '50s in Juniper, Florida but now we have an official description and the whole thing sounds awesome:

"Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" stars Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Gabourey Sidibe, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, John Carroll Lynch, and Patti LaBelle. It premieres October 8 on FX.
