The first teaser trailer for "Men, Women & Children," the film from Jason Reitman ("Juno," "Up in the Air"), has not a single line of spoken dialogue, yet the premise is crystal clear. In our technology-obsessed age, we're all constantly on our phones -- texting, Instagramming, Facebooking, Snapchatting.
Reitman's movie follows some high school students and their parents as they navigate digital relationships and struggle to talk to each other at a time when there are so many forms of communication. The big-name cast includes Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Ansel Elgort, Judy Greer, and Emma Thompson.
Just from the teaser, it looks like a powerful movie that will speak to a lot of our shared experiences, and it has "awards contender" written all over it. "Men, Women & Children" will open at the Toronto Film Festival, then in limited release on Oct. 3.
