Well, the cast of this October's "American Horror Story: Freak Show" keeps getting more interesting. The newest addition to the cast, which recently announced Patti LaBelle, is Jyoti Amge, a woman who holds the Guinness Book of World Recrods title for "world's smallest woman." Co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy announced the new hire on Twitter (via TV Line), complete with a photo of "American Horror Story" grand dame Jessica Lange holding the diminutive actress.

Amge, who previously appeared on an episode of "Body Shock" and guest starred on the Indian version of "Big Brother," stands slightly over two-feet-tall (hence Lange holding her like a little doll). She is joining a cast that includes Sarah Paulson (as the two-headed lady), Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy, Michael Chiklis and Wes Bentley. Plot details have yet to fully emerge, but at least some of it takes place in the 1950's in the community of Jupiter, Florida, known for its freaky citizenry (that immortal "Humbug" episode of "The X-Files" was also based on the town).

Recently, all-star "American Horror Story" director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon told Vulture that the new season is going to be "incredible," and executive producer Tim Minear called it the "best season yet" during a panel at San Diego Comic Con. We cannot wait. Expect the show to return closer to Halloween, because obviously it's the spookiest time of year.
