Moviefone's Top DVD of the Week
"Afternoon Delight"
What's It About? Rachel (Kathryn Hahn) is a frustrated stay-at-home who's enjoying a naughty night out at the strip club with her husband (Josh Radnor). After Rachel gets a lap dance from the beautiful young McKenna (Juno Temple), she becomes fascinated with McKenna and tries to forge a friendship. Rachel invites McKenna to live with her and her husband and act as a live-in babysitter for their young son. What starts as an afternoon delight becomes much more complicated.
Why We're IN: Hahn is usually very, very funny, but here she's given the chance to show off her dramatic, dysfunctional chops. Plus, it's by writer/director Jill Soloway, who worked on "United States of Tara" and "Six Feet Under."

Moviefone's Top Blu-ray of the Week
"Fantastic Mr. Fox" (Criterion)
What's It About? Um, it's a stop-motion film by Wes Anderson starring the voice talents of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, and Bill Murray. If that doesn't sell you, Clooney voices the eponymous Mr. Fox, who can't resist raiding farms for food. Hijinks ensue! Anderson-style hijinks. In a word: adorable.
Why We're IN: Besides being wholly lovable and cool for viewers of all ages, "Fantastic Mr. Fox" gets the deluxe Criterion treatment, including a 30-minute making-of featurette, commentary, and a voice recording of Roald Dahl reading "Fantastic Mr. Fox" aloud. (Anderson's screenplay is based on Dahl's book.)

New on DVD & Blu-ray
"Battle of the Damned"
What's It About? Dolph Lundgren plays a merc who's leading robots and various ne'er-do-wells in a fight against zombies.
IN or OUT: Depends on how you feel about Dolph Lundgren. There aren't even any reviews of it on Rotten Tomatoes...

New to Blu-ray
"Darkman" (Collector's Edition)
What's It About? Dr. Westlake (Liam Neeson) was just another scientist working on synthetic skin for burn victims until mobsters blew up his lab and left him for dead. Burned beyond recognition, Dr. Westlake uses his invention to create all sorts of disguises for himself as Darkman, a superhero taking vengeance on the men who wronged him. Plus, his girlfriend Julie (Frances McDormand) thinks he's dead.
IN or OUT: Sam Raimi's first superhero film has a cult following, and those folks will definitely want this Blu-ray for their collection.

"Foreign Correspondent" (Criterion)
What's It About? A reporter is sent to Europe to investigate the brewing world war. There are chase scenes, loads of spies, and an incredible plane crash into the ocean!
IN or OUT: Although it's not one of Hitchcock's finest, it's certainly a worthy addition to any cinephile's collection.
