The fashion designers known as Rodarte aren't newbies to nerdy fashion, but surely their Fall 2014 collection at New York Fashion Week takes the cake. The outfits that floated down the runway were fit for an outer space princess with people to see and brothers to smooch. Although some of them were just evocative of what would be de rigueur on Alderaan, some of the pieces were printed with images of Luke Skywalker, Yoda, and C-3PO on the skirts.

It seems like the admiration is mutual, too. George Lucas was spotted at Rodarte's Autumn/Winter 2012 show in New York, alongside Dakota Fanning and Queen Amidala herself, Natalie Portman. (Guess that means there won't be any copyright problems with these frocks.)

Like many fashion designers, Rodarte has also served up some cool short movies to promote their lines. Not many are as wild and creative (and straight up D&D nerdy) as "This Must Be The Only Fantasy," with Elijah Wood.

For those of us who are fans of "Star Wars" but not haute couture prices, there's always Black Milk Clothing. The small label offers leggings, swimsuits, and dresses that are emblazoned with AT-ATs, the Death Star, the iconic light saber fight, and other montages.
