Now, Michael Uslan, a producer on every single "Batman" movie since Tim Burton's 1989 version, is weighing in. He told EPDaily.tv (via Comingsoon.net) that he "couldn't be more excited" about Affleck's take on the Dark Knight.
Uslan is psyched to see "the evolution of Batman, it's exciting and everybody is pumped up about it," he said. "It's a chance for a new direction, and it's going to be something that people I think will be just so excited about."
The producer also pointed out that fans initially hated the casting of Michael Keaton as Burton's Batman as well as Heath Ledger as the Joker in Christopher Nolan's 2008 "Dark Knight."
Now, it's Affleck turn, and he'll present a very different character than we've seen before.
"When you focus on it, Bruce Wayne, maybe in his mid-forties, what's he going to be feeling?" Uslan said. "What's he going to be thinking? What does he have on his plate to deal with?"
