Moviefone's Top DVD of the Week
"Dallas Buyers Club"
What's It About? Based on a true story, "DBC" stars Matthew McConaughey as Ron Woodroof, a good old boy diagnosed with HIV and given 30 days to live. He begins importing non-FDA approved drugs into the US to treat himself and begins selling them to other people living with HIV as part of a buyers club. Jared Leto plays his business partner and friend Rayon, a transgender woman who also has HIV.
Why We're IN: Although "DBC" has been criticized for some of its more liberal interpretation of the facts, strong performances have earned this movie six Oscar nominations.

What's It About? It's a time-traveling romance/family drama from Richard Curtis, of "Love Actually" fame. And it stars Rachel McAdams!
IN or OUT: Although it will never become a Christmas classic like "Love Actually," it's worth checking out.

"Baggage Claim"
What's It About? Paula Patton plays a flight attendant desperate to snag a fiancé, and figures that flying the friendly skies is better than Match.com.

EXCLUSIVE: "Baggage Claim" star Paula Patton talks romancs (VIDEO)

"A Case of You"
What's It About? Justin Long plays a dude who crafts an online persona based on the details of his crush's Facebook profile, because that's totally not creepy at all. Evan Rachel Wood co-stars.
IN or OUT: Close your account.

"Escape Plan"
What's It About? Sylvester Stallone stars as a security expert who finds himself locked up in one of his own prisons. Arnold Schwarzenegger, naturally, plays a fellow inmate who helps plan their escape.
IN or OUT: This one is pretty expendable.

"Free Birds"
What's It About? This animated film uses the voice talents of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Amy Poehler for its tale of anti-Thanksgiving turkey turmoil.

IN or OUT: Not the best adaptation of the Bard.

New to Blu-ray
"Death Wish" (40th Anniversary Edition)
What's It About? Charles Bronson stars as an architect who goes AWOL after his family is attacked in this violent vigilante flick. It's the first of a series.
IN or OUT: There aren't a lot of extras to recommend this special edition, but if you feel a "Death Wish" coming on, go for it. (Plus, check out young Jeff Goldblum!)

"Night of the Demons" (1988)
What's It About? A Halloween party at a local abandoned mortuary sounds like a good idea, right? Things go downhill for our teen characters after a seancé conjures up something nasty from another realm.
IN or OUT: This is a classic for '80s horror aficionados, and the extras will please fans of this goofy, gross flick. Plus, there's a creepy sexy dance scene set to "Stigmata Martyr" by Bauhaus.
