After years of false starts and months of rumors about whether it would happen or not, the "Entourage" movie has finally started production.

Series star Adrian Grenier announced the news to his Twitter followers on Wednesday, posting a photo of himself flexing his muscles and revealing that shooting was set to start on Thursday. The big-screen adaptation of the beloved HBO series had been rumored since the show went off the air back in 2011, but recent reports indicated that several members of the original cast were holding off on making a deal due to salary disputes. But those issues seem to have been finally put to rest, and now that cameras are rolling, it shouldn't be long before fans of the series finally get the movie they've been waiting for.

No timeframe for release was given, but Grantland already has high (tongue-in-cheek) hopes for the production.
