Julia Roberts hasn't been keeping up with the Kardashians, but she's happy that others are.
In a new interview with In Touch, the Oscar-winning actress revealed that she appreciates reality stars like Kim K. and co. for one reason: They keep the spotlight off of her.
"As a film actor, I'm [only] inviting people to pay attention to my characters. But if you're a reality star, by virtue you are asking and inviting people to pay attention to you," Roberts told the magazine. "It's great because they take that attention away from me."
Roberts, who is notoriously private when it comes to her family and life outside Hollywood, added that she's never seen an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," but joked that "there's still time." The actress did admit, though, to having watched "a little bit" of the "Real Housewives" series, and said she's addicted to "Project Runway" because she "love[s] to sew."
Just don't look for her to star in her own series about an actress with a passion for needle and thread.
Roberts will next appear onscreen in "August: Osage County," which has shifted its release date from Christmas to December 27.
