If you've missed Angelina Jolie's spooky styles from the late '90s and early aughts, you'll be pleased as punch with this trailer for Disney's "Maleficent."

Jolie stars as the eponymous wicked witch from the "Sleeping Beauty" fairy tales, alongside Elle Fanning as a beautiful, innocent, blonde young princess named Aurora. This new take on the tale shifts the focus to Maleficent herself, how she came to rock those bodacious leather horns, and perhaps her eventual redemption. This trailer gives us a good look at the fantastical world of "Maleficent," from spooky woods and flitting fairies to sunny fields and, oh, more spooky woods.

There were rumors in October that there would be some reshoots with help from writer/director John Lee Hancock, who directed the upcoming Disney flick "Saving Mr. Banks." "Maleficent" director Joe Roth told The Hollywood Reporter, "We asked him to be on set... He's not directing. He wrote pages, and I hired a first-time director, and it's good to have him on set." Roth added, "The movie is gorgeous to look at, and the last 75 minutes are really entertaining."

Welp, we'll see for ourselves next spring. "Maleficent" is currently slated for release on May 30, 2014, in three glorious dimensions. It also stars Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. This is director Robert Stromberg's feature-length film debut.
