Moviefone's Top DVD of the Week:
"Monster's University"
What's It About?
This prequel to the Disney-Pixar favorite "Monster's Inc." takes us back in time to when Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sully (John Goodman) weren't the best of friends. Before the two became big Scarers, they were freshman at Monster's University and quickly became competitive rivals.
Why We're In: Crystal's Mike and Goodman's Sully are undoubtedly one of the funniest and most beloved onscreen animated duos. Unlike most prequels, "Monster's University" is packed with fresh humor, fun and charming moments, and will keep the whole family entertained. The prequel was also ranked one of Moviefone's Best Movies of 2013 (So Far).

Moviefone's Top Blu-ray of the Week:
"La Notte" (Criterion Collection)
What's It About?
Michelangelo Antonioni's 1961 classic, "La Notte," stars Jeanne Moreau and Marcello Mastroianni as a deteriorating married couple. The two re-examine their relationship over the course of an evening, in which Mastroianni's Giovanni spends the night at a party and Moreau's Lidia wander's through the streets.
Why We're In: Loosely apart of Antonioni's "Alienation Trilogy," "La Notte" has been celebrated for its moody, but intoxicating atmosphere and its exploration of loneliness. It's methodical, slow structure make it a difficult film to sink into, but "La Notte" is nonetheless a significant film in Italian filmmaker's canon.

New on DVD & Blu-ray:
"All Hallows' Eve"
What's It About?
This horror movie follows a young girl babysitting two kids on Halloween who discovers a VHS tape in the kids' trick-or-treat bag. She watches the tape, which features three scary stories linked by a murderous clown, and soon the clown starts to become a reality.

"Bounty Killer"
What's It About?
In an apocalyptic world where corporations have taken over the government, bounty killers set out to end corporate greed by killing for body count, money, and fame. While "Bounty Killer" seems like a "Mad Max" rip-off, it's still packed to the brim with bloody, trashy fun.

"Byzantium"
What's It About?
This stylish vampire tale from Neil Jordan ("Interview with a Vampire," "The Queen") stars Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan as mother and daughter blood suckers. After Ronan's Eleanor tells a young boy after her and her mother's secret, their past quickly and hazardously catches up with them. "Byzantium" is a gentler vampire story with less blood and more heart, and while its story isn't as compelling as it could be, Jordan proves he has a knack for evoking the gothic.

"Home Alone: The Holiday Heist"
What's It About?
When the Baxter family moves from California to Maine, the 10-year-old Finn thinks his new home is haunted. However, Finn soon learns that what he thought were ghosts are really a trio of thieves after a painting hidden in his house. "Home Alone: The Holiday Heist" is just another reminder why the "Home Alone" franchise should've stopped after the second film.

"R.I.P.D."
What's It About?
When Ryan Reynolds's cop Nick gets killed, he joins the undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department. Nick and veteran sheriff Roy Pulsifer (Jeff Bridges) must protect the living from dangerous souls who refuse to go to the other side. While Jeff Bridges is always fun to watch, his performance can't save the overly stylized "R.I.P.D." from its nonsensical story.
