When it rains, it pours -- and after a long drought, fans thirsty for "Jurassic World" scoop are finally being satiated.

After Monday's revelation that Ty Simpkins ("Iron Man 3") is in negotiations for a role in the fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" franchise comes news that actor Nick Robinson is also in talks for a part in the movie. Robinson, 18, would play the older brother of 12-year-old Simpkins's character.

Variety reports that Robinson, who made his feature debut last May in "The Kings of Summer," was being eyed for the role before production was briefly shut down earlier this year. The script, originally penned by "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" scribes Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, has since undergone a rewrite by director Colin Trevorrow ("Safety Not Guaranteed") and writer Derek Connolly.

Also in the mix -- though nothing, including Robinson or Simpkins's involvement, has been officially confirmed by the studio -- are Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson.

"Jurassic World" is due in theaters June 12, 2015.
