You can't keep a good writer down.

It seems like just yesterday that J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. announced a deal to create a new franchise based on her novel "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The eagle-eyed folks at Bleeding Cool have noticed that Warner Bros. has added a few new "Harry Potter"-related trademarks to its arsenal, and the Internet is abuzz with what that could mean.

These trademarks include book titles "Quidditch Through the Ages" and "Tales Of Beedle The Bard," the names Kennilworthy Whisp and Newt Scamander, and Quidditch teams Kenmare Kestrels, Chudley Cannons, and Wimbourne Wasps.

Does this mean that WB is planning even more movies set in the Potterverse, or is the studio just covering its bases? These trademarks could be for anything related to these properties, like TV shows, video games, comic books, or, yes, movies. The outrageous popularity of the series, in addition to Rowling's prodigious output, makes it a tantalizing possibility.
