There's still a shroud of mystery surrounding "Jurassic World," the fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" franchise scheduled for release in summer 2015. Director Colin Trevorrow has teased that most of the plot theories floating around the internet are wrong, and has so far offered very little information about what audiences can expect to see on the big screen.
But what about who's starring in the long-awaited sequel? While there's no official word yet, Jeff Goldblum, who played Dr. Ian Malcolm in the first two "Jurassic" films, has stirred up some speculation that he may reprise his role in "Jurassic World."
During a sprawling interview with the Financial Times, Goldblum was asked if he was planning on appearing in the movie. Goldblum played it coy.
"Whether I'm in it or not, I'll be first in line for a ticket," he said.
Considering it's not a firm denial, we'll tentatively keep our fingers crossed that we'll be seeing Goldblum bust out his dino-fighting skills again soon. He's already set to reprise another one of his beloved '90s roles in the upcoming "Independence Day" sequels; here's hoping he's feeling equally nostalgic for "Jurassic Park."
