'The Family,' movie premiere, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Diana Agron, John D'Leo, Luc BessonCharles Sykes/Invision/AP

Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer may play ruthless Mafiosi in their new crime comedy "The Family," but at the film's world premiere Tuesday night, they looked like they couldn't hurt a fly.

Pfeiffer, who plays Maggie Blake, wife and mother of a mob family, was looking flashy in a purple velvet suit on the red carpet alongside co-stars De Niro, Dianna Agron ("Glee"), and John D'Leo.

"The Family," co-written and directed by Luc Besson ("Leon: The Professional," "The Fifth Element"), stars De Niro as Giovanni Manzoni, a mob boss who moves his wife and kids to France (and changes their last name to Blake) under the witness protection program. But this seemingly sweet family is far from sweet, and when their violent tendencies come out, it threatens to blow their cover.

The red carpet became a gangster affair as Jean Reno ("Leon: The Professional"), Mafia movie favorite Vincent Pastore, and even rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson showed up to celebrate the film. Tony Danza also made an appearance because, well, he's the boss.
