We thought it would never happen, but someone has finally asked Justin Timberlake to weigh in on Ben Affleck as Batman.

While on Fresh 102.7's "Jim and Kim Show" on August 27, the musician-slash-actor fielded a question about his "Runner, Runner" co-star's role in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel. "Ben Affleck as Batman, I like it," he said. "I worked with Ben last summer and I've seen his process. I think he's a brilliant filmmaker. I think he's an extreme talent so he could surprise a lot of people."

But like Matt Damon, Timberlake isn't prepared to play Affleck's Robin. He has a different -- and much more dastardly -- Gotham City character in mind.

"I ain't playin' Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie," he said. "Now villain. I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything, because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is The Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain."

Apparently The Riddler's sociopathic ways appeal to JT. "[I]f I'm gonna play crazy, I'm wanna play proper crazy," he said. "I'm ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call."

You heard the man; let's do this. He could certainly rock that green suit and bowler hat.

In the meantime, "Runner, Runner" hits theaters October 4.
