The "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie still has yet to find its Christian Grey, and according to a report in Us Weekly, we can cross two actors off the list of Hollywood studs rumored to be in contention for the BDSM-heavy role.
First up is "On the Road" star Garrett Hedlund, who apparently flat-out turned down the opportunity to get sexy as the titular billionaire bad boy. "Doing a possible trilogy was too big a commitment, and producers wouldn't let him do just one film," an insider tells Us.
Fan favorite Ian Somerhalder, of "Vampire Diaries" fame, is also a reported no-go, with a source revealing that "Fifty Shades" author E.L. James let slip that "the part won't go to Ian" at a Comic-Con party on July 20.
So, who will sign on for the steamy role? It's still anyone's guess at this point, but the final casting decision has to happen soon, because the film is due in theaters August 1, 2014.
