Of all the news to come out of Comic-Con this year, this may take the cake.
According to THR, Warner Bros plans to announce their followup to the successful "Man of Steel" at their Hall H panel today, and it's a doozy. What is it? A Superman-Batman movie, of course. Henry Cavill is expected to return to the red cape, while it's not clear who will be playing the Dark Knight (Christian Bale has said he's done with Batman). Zach Snyder, who helmed "Man of Steel," is expected to direct.
While it's not a "Justice League" movie, THR also stated that the studio has tentative plans for that potentially mega franchise to launch in 2017. And what's more: a "Flash" movie in 2016!
If true, this will all be confirmed very shortly as Warner Bros.' Hall H Panel is currently underway.
