Your move, Marvel.

Warner Bros. has announced a new movie that will feature both Superman and Batman. The news was made during WB's Comic-Con presentation in Hall H -- much to the delight of Con fans, many of whom had camped out all night to get a seat in the hall. (The story was reported earlier by LA Times' Hero Complex, though at the time, WB had declined to confirm the details.)

Though details on the film are sparse, it would likely not be set in the same universe as Christopher Nolan's Batman movies. Last month, "Man of Steel" screenwriter David Goyer confirmed that any potential "Justice League" movie would feature an entirely new Bat, so it's safe to assume the same would be applied for this film.

UPDATE: It looks like the tentative plan is for the new Batman to first appear in the upcoming sequel to this summer's blockbuster "Man of Steel" before the two heroes star in an official team-up movie.

This wouldn't be the first time a Batman/Superman movie has happened. In 1997, there was an animated TV movie, which had the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight going up against the Joker and Lex Luthor.
