Britney Spears's new video for her "Smurfs 2" single "Ooh La La" features two stars in the making: her sons, Jayden, 6, and Sean Preston, 7.
The video, which features tons of clips from the follow-up to 2011's "The Smurfs," starts with Spears sitting in a theater between her boys, sharing popcorn and whispering about the movie. Suddenly, Spears is transported onto the big screen -- thanks to a laser from evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) -- where she sings and dances with the Smurfs, while the boys can't hide their delight at seeing their mother zapped out of thin air.
"Cool!" they exclaim simultaneously, waving at the screen and calling out, "Hi, Mom!"
It's a pretty kid-friendly clip with a simple concept (which makes sense, given the "Smurfs" films' family audience), though it's sort of odd to see Spears suggestively shake her moneymaker in front of her sons. Still, the video's main focus is the animated on-screen action, of which there is plenty -- in addition to Gargamel, the entire Smurfs gang appears -- and it should appeal to all ages.
"The Smurfs 2" premieres July 31. Its soundtrack drops July 23.
