"We're all going to win Oscars!" declares one of the filmmakers behind "Deep Throat" in a new trailer for the indie biopic "Lovelace."

Uh, not quite, but 1972's "Deep Throat" did become a huge hit and made an international sensation out of Linda Lovelace.

"Lovelace" follows the titular woman (played by Amanda Seyfried) on her journey from an unknown to the world's most famous porn star. Along the way, she clashes with controlling husband Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard), meets the charming Hugh Hefner (James Franco), and becomes a spokesperson for sexual freedom.

"How does it feel to be the poster girl for the sexual revolution?" Lovelace is asked in the trailer.

"To me, it's a movie. Like any other movie," she replies. "Only it has so many better things in it. Like me."

"Lovelace" is packed with major stars, including Sharon Stone, Bobby Cannavale, Hank Azaria, Chloe Sevigny, Chris Noth, and Adam Brody. The movie opens Aug. 9.
