Raise your hand if you screamed bloody murder at the end of "Insidious"? Yup, we did, too!
The surprise horror hit left off on a giant cliffhanger, with Patrick Wilson's Josh seemingly possessed by a creepy old woman after rescuing his son from the shadowy world called "The Further."
As the trailer for the sequel, "Insidious: Chapter 2," shows, the story picks up where it left off. Josh and wife Renai (Rose Byrne) take their kids to live with his mother Lorraine (Barbara Hershey). But a terrified Renai soon realizes something is still terribly wrong.
"Whatever it was that was haunting our family, it's not done with us," Lorraine says, as a bone-chilling version of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" plays in the trailer.
In a recent interview, director James Wan teased that "Insidious: Chapter 2" would feature "the element of time travel" and explore Lorraine and paranormal investigator Elise's past.
"It answers questions, but hopefully not in the way you expect," Wan said of the sequel.
"Insidious: Chapter 2" haunts theaters on Friday, Sept. 13.
