We were just getting all excited about Justin Timberlake focusing on his music again! According to NY Post's Page Six, JTimb could take on the role of Daddy Warbucks in the upcoming remake of "Annie." A Sony publicist has denied the rumor, but we'll wait and see.

Quvenzhane Wallis, who rocked the awards season red carpets with a wide array of puppy purses, has already signed on as Annie in the Will Gluck-directed flick. Will Smith, whose daughter Willow Smith was previously attached to star, has been developing the project with Jay-Z. Timberlake told Billboard.com that he met the hip-hop superstar while working on Beyonce's upcoming album. Coincidentally or not, Jay-Z is going on tour with Timberlake this summer and can be heard on the pop singer's first single "Suit and Tie" from his new album "The 20/20 Experience."

Timberlake just joined the five-timers' club on "Saturday Night Live" and has roles in the upcoming Coen brothers film "Inside Llewyn Davis" and "Runner, Runner." Jay-Z, on the other hand, is producing and will perform on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's epic "The Great Gatsby." Busy guys, the both of 'em.
