According to Variety, the "Harry Potter" star is in talks to play Cinderella in Kenneth Branagh's upcoming live-action adaptation for Disney. Cate Blanchette is already signed on to play the wicked step-mother.
This isn't the first time Watson has been circling the princess role. Back in 2009, she considered starring in a musical version of the story, written and directed by Marilyn Manson.
Since the final "Harry Potter" film wrapped in 2011, Watson has been busy, with roles in "My Week With Marilyn" and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." The 22-year-old actress will next appear in Sofia Coppola's upcoming film, "The Bling Ring," along with the Darren Aronofsky biblical epic, "Noah."
