"The Last Stand" opens in theaters this weekend, marking Arnold Schwarzenegger's big return to leading-man action movies. Even though it's been ten long years since Arnie got top billing in a movie (he's been a little busy in the meantime), his fanbase hasn't forgotten about him. And while they patiently waited for him to get back to acting in movie blockbusters, they've kept busy by immortalizing him in crazy, hilarious and downright awesome fan art.

This collection of images -- ranging from comic book covers to painted portraits to tattoos -- depict some of the most unique interpretations of Schwarzenegger's most famous characters.
