Hollywood put on its Sunday best for 70th annual Golden Globes. But, of course, some missed the mark.
Tomato red gowns were a theme of the evening -- Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard and Claire Danes were among the many sporting the bright hue. Below, we've gathered the best and the worst of the evening's looks.

BEST: Kerry Washington
"Django Unchained" star Kerry Washington wowed in Miu Miu & Chopard. The flapper-inspired gown made us wish she were starring in "The Great Gatsby," too.
WORST: Lucy Liu
This Carolina Herrera dress would make beautiful wallpaper for an English manor. But that's about it.
BEST: Nicole Kidman
Defying all logic, Nicole Kidman looks banging in this Alexander McQueen dazzler.
WORST: Halle Berry
This Atelier Versace is like 1997 in a dress.
BEST: Julianne Hough
This is a lot of look, but Julianne Hough knows how to pull of tulle *and* gold glitter. Well done.
WORST: Debra Messing
A Dona Karan dress or a sinister duvet cover? You decide.
BEST: Olivia Munn
The notoriously sexy star classed up the joint in Giorgio Armani.
WORST: Jessica Chastain
This sea foam Calvin Klein is not doing Jessica Chastain any favors. There's no need for all that draping. There's just no need.
BEST: Claire Danes
I mean, this lady just had a baby. A BABY.
WORST: Rachel Weisz
More like the worst of the worst! Baby doll goth? What's happening here, Rachel? You're better than this.
WORST: Lena Dunham
Oh, Lena. The Zac Posen dress looks matronly or like a beautiful set of drapes.
BEST: Marion Cotillard
It's not easy being Jennifer Lawrence's dress-brethren, but if anyone can do it, it's Marion. She looks like a goddess in this Dior stunner.
WORST: Jennifer Lopez
Is this Zuhair Murad number really body paint? The world may never know.
BEST: Anne Hathaway
You've got to respect Anne's commitment to white. And this chic Chanel frock hits all the right notes.
BEST: Jennifer Lawrence
"Best: Jennifer Lawrence" is now a familiar construction. The "Silver Linings Playbook" star wore Dior Haute Couture and -- apart from a shelf-y bodice -- she looked amazing in the tomato-red number.
WORST: Kate Hudson
I'm not a girl to hate on Alexander McQueen, but I'd be hard-pressed to get down with a bejeweled dog collar. No matter what.
