The revamp of Brian De Palma's 1976 horror flick stars Chloe Moretz as the titular lead, a high school outcast who discovers -- after much locker room teasing -- that she possesses psionic power and seeks out her revenge on prom night.
Directed by Kimberly Peirce, the rest of the cast includes Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday and Julianne Moore as Moretz's unhinged mother. The stars of the film recently sat down for a panel at this year's New York edition of Comic-Con, where Moretz talked about her role as the troubled teen -- and having to run around for weeks in clothing soaked in fake blood.
"It was probably the most fun for about the first two weeks of it. After that it just got sticky and wet and it was like 40 degrees outside and it was freezing," Moretz said. "But it was amazing, because each day in the blood it became something else. And everyday, there was a lot things that we refer to as 'the wet blood,' 'the fire blood,' 'the dry blood' and all the different type of blood."
Check out the newly released teaser above. "Carrie" hits theaters March 15.
