With a genuinely creepy-looking monster and some unnerving scares involving photos that deceive your eye, "Sinister" could be a surprising October chiller. In the film, Ethan Hawke stars as a true-crime novelist who moves his family into a house where the previous tenants were murdered. Investigating leftover items of the deceased family, he discovers a supernatural demon that lives inside old pictures and home movies -- and may threaten his family next.

The demon is known as Bagul, and you may have spotted him in the film's clever poster design, hiding in a blood-smeared image on the wall. To get horror fans even more pumped up for Bagul's big-screen debut, the studio behind "Sinister" has unveiled a genuinely fun Facebook app that allows you to become the monster hiding in the poster. All you have to do is head over to the See Yourself Sinister tab on the movie's Facebook page, and you can upload a photo that will be transformed into a morbidly bloody demonic image. With just a few easy-to-read steps, you'll have your own signature "Sinister" poster that you can share with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.
