CATEGORIES Movie NewsIn Michael Bay's latest film, the "Bad Boys" director has gone from guns to guns.
Based on Pete Collins's Miami New Times series, "Pain & Gain," Bay's professed "dark comedy," follows a pair of Floridian musclemen (Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson) who get mixed up in a doomed kidnapping.
The movie has been gestating for years. Bay told MTV in 2009 -- when "Pain & Gain" was just a twinkle in his eye -- that he had hopes of doing a smaller production, which he described as "a 'Pulp Fiction'-type of movie."
Paramount has released the first teaser poster for the film, which you can check out below. "Pain & Gain" starring Wahlberg, Johnson, Ed Harris, Rebel Wilson, Ken Jeong, Anthony Mackie and Rob Corddry will muscle its way to theaters April 12, 2013.
