CATEGORIES Movie NewsIf 007 parachuting out of helicopters with the Queen of England isn't British enough for you, not to worry: the MI6 agent is going to be returning to his roots once again.
In a behind-the-scenes look at "Skyfall," the latest chapter in the James Bond franchise, actor Daniel Craig talks about making the newest film in the 007 saga positively English.
"[Director] Sam [Mendes] and I wanted to make it British. And it's not some flag waving thing that either one of us is interested in, it's just about basing Bond in Britain," Craig says in the new "Skyfall" featurette.
Unfortunately, "making it British" is easier said than done. As Mendes admits, the city isn't particularly photogenic, which means the the "Skyfall" crew had to get a bit creative. "We tend to shoot in the more expected areas but I hope in unexpected ways and from unexpected angles," Mendes says.
The movie also promises to have a few surprises in store for audiences, with a new threat (villain Javier Bardem in a creepy blond wig) and the return of Q (actor Ben Whishaw).
You can check out the behind-the-scenes clip above. "Skyfall," starring Craig, Bardem, Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes, hits theaters on November 9.
