In "Rock of Ages," Tom Cruise stars as Stacee Jaxx, a 1980s mega-huge rock star who draws thousands of screaming fans and rabid media attention anywhere he sets foot. Once you've seen Stacee in action, belting out hair-metal hits and parading around with groupies, you'll know why Cruise was the perfect fit for the character. That's because Jaxx's impact on music (you know, assuming he's a real person) has been just as momentous as Tom's impact on movies.
