If you're reading this, you've probably waited until the last possible moment to order a Father's Day present, which means it better be good. Lucky for you, we've done some creative curating and paired six fabulous flicks with a bonus gift that will make a film-loving father as happy as can be this Sunday (or, realistically, a few days after Sunday -- unless you spring for overnight shipping).
But don't just take my word for it -- all of these presents were selected in conjunction with a focus group of fathers (a.k.a. my super geek husband and pals).

Like Father, Like Son
DVD: "Star Wars" Trilogy on Blu-ray
If there is more than one version of the 'Star Wars' saga on the father in question's DVD shelf, odds are good that pops already owns the Blu-ray edition. But in case he doesn't, George Lucas' magnum opus is a steal at less than $40.
Like Father, Like Son
Gift: "Darth Vader and Son"
Any "Star Wars"-loving dad will adore this new picture book, which gives readers a tender look at what life would've been like had the Dark Lord raised young Luke. At one point, author-illustrator Jeffrey Brown lovingly depicts a tired Vader trying to keep up with a four-year-old Luke: "This isn't the toy you're looking for," he says, to which little Luke replies, "Yes it is!" Awwwww.
For the Love of Bill Murray
DVD: "Ghostbusters"
Because it's a classic. (And besides, what father doesn't want to identify with the guys everyone calls to make big and scary -- and occasionally fluffy -- ghosts and monsters disappear?)
For the serious Murray-phile, no DVD collection would be complete without Wes Anderson's "The Life Aquatic," which just might be his most under-appreciated performance.
For the Love of Bill
Gift: Bill Murray/Han Solo Shirt
You'd think we'd lead you to some "Ghostbusters" merchandise, but this tee, which imagines Bill as Han Solo, is pure genius. Although it's hard to think of anyone but Harrison Ford playing the iconic role, we all know Bill would have killed it.
Give Daddy a (Face)hug
DVD: "Alien" Anthology Blu-ray
Most Ripley purists are only into the first two films in the series, "Alien" and "Aliens" (you know, the ones made by Ridley Scott and James Cameron). But just in case your dad also digs David Fincher's stylized "Alien 3" (the less said about Jean-Pierre Jeunet's version the better), here are all four flicks bundled with a freaktastic cover (sorry, dads, it's not tank-topped Sigourney Weaver). Top off the DVD with tickets to see "Prometheus."
Give Daddy a (Face)hug
Gift: Facehugger plush
Even if your father isn't the stuffed animal type, we guarantee he'll get attached to this most awesome of "Alien"-related plush dolls.
Spies Like Us
DVD: "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" & "M:I" Gift Set
We love James Bond, but there are more than twenty 007 movies to choose from. On the other hand, Ethan Hunt has had only four spy missions, and the latest one, "Ghost Protocol," just came out on DVD. Here, Cruise once again proves that a good spy story boils down not just to awesome special effects and death-defying stunts, but to a larger-than-life agent we feel compelled to root for again and again. (On second thought, the action in this film, like when Ethan scales the world's tallest building with a pair of sticky Gecko gloves, should go a long way for dad, too.)
Spies Like Us
Gift: Ironkey Flash-Drive.
Don't ask us exactly how it works, but these military-grade flash drives will actually self destruct (a.k.a. fill with epoxy and make the contents unreadable) if the wrong password is entered 10 times in a row. How cool is that?
Comic-Book Dad
DVD: The "Spider-Man" Trilogy
There's something magical about seeing childhood heroes come to life. For a Marvel comics aficionado, there are plenty of film adaptations to choose from, but since the new Spidey reboot hits theaters in a couple of weeks, what better time to revisit the Tobey Maguire version than now?
Comic-Book Dad
Gift: The Marvel Encyclopedia
If you want to make sure you have all the details about the Marvel universe straight -- like why everyone was screaming during that one post-credits 'Avengers' scene -- get this definitive tome about the legendary comic-book publisher. (Or if dad likes to wear his fandom on his sleeve -- check out this big and bold "Avengers" tee.)
Election Year Bonus: All Hail the Chief
DVD: "The Ides of March" and "All the President's Men"
Political junkies get ridiculously excited in a campaign year, so celebrate your dad's love of the democratic process with two "inside politics" movies. OK, neither of them is exactly a positive depiction of D.C.'s version of "Game of Thrones," but they're both entertaining, well-acted dramas.
If you want your politics to be a little more, uh, adventurous, you can throw in the inventive, illustrated president-meets-paranormal book "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and then see the film adaptation when it hits theaters next week.
Election Year Bonus: All Hail the Chief
Gift: "Presidential Campaign Posters: Two Hundred Years of Election Art" This paperback coffee-table book is a stunning collection of 100 ready-to-frame campaign posters, filled with slogans from Andrew Jackson's "Defender of Beauty and Booty" to Barack Obama's "Hope."
