Just when you thought your favorite anthropomorphic animals had reached the apex of wonderful-ness, they go and join the greatest show of all.

"Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" finds our protagonists abroad, desperately trying to return to New York. By a stroke of luck, they stumble upon a European circus that's also going back to the Big Apple. Afro-dancing, car chases and general hilarity ensues.

Check out the clip above, where our characters try to adjust to circus life. (Spoiler alert: Things don't go according to plan!)

Written by indie auteur Noah Baumbach, the third "Madagascar" installment boasts the vocal stylings of Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen and David Schwimmer and hits theaters June 8.

This is really sad. I didn't think that the first Madagascar was a very good movie, let alone to warrant two sequels and a television show dedicated to the penguins. I suppose for a children's film it is okay, but there are plenty of children's films that do what this tries to and succeeds. Dream Works did an excellent job with "How to Train Your Dragon" so they can make a great film if they try.
